This policy explains how Fire & Ice (fireandicehq.com, "we", "us") handles your information. We are the data controller. You can reach us at hello@fireandicehq.com.

What we collect

Usage data (automatic). Pages you view, referring site, approximate location (from IP), device and browser type, collected via standard server logs through our hosting provider (Cloudflare) to run and secure the site. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
Affiliate click data. When you click an affiliate link, the affiliate network (such as Awin or Impact) may set a cookie to attribute any purchase. That processing is carried out by the network under its own privacy policy; we receive only aggregate commission reports, not your identity.
Contact data. If you email us, we hold your email address and message to reply.

We do not ask for or store payment details, and we do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

We do not set analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not load a cookie banner because no non-essential cookie is placed when you simply view a page. The only referral cookie is set by the affiliate network at the moment you click an affiliate link, to attribute a possible purchase, so clicking a tracked link is itself the point of consent. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings.

Legal basis (UK/EU)

Under UK GDPR we rely on our legitimate interests (operating, securing and improving the site) for usage data, and on your consent for non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Who processes your data

Our service providers include our hosting and content-delivery provider (Cloudflare) and the affiliate networks whose links we use. Some of these process data in the United States and elsewhere; where data leaves the UK/EU we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

UK/EU (GDPR): you can request access to, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data, and object to processing. To exercise these, email us. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

US / California (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information we hold, to request deletion, and to opt out of any "sale" of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, email us.

Retention & children

We keep usage data in aggregate and contact emails only as long as needed. The site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date shows when. Material changes will be reflected here.
